Unlike the conventional guidescope holder, which relies on pushing screws on the body of the tube, the ultra strong and stable Guidescope Mount features a dovetail mounting system for the quick-release attachment/detachment. With the Guidescope Mount, aligning the guidescope to the OTA is easy and precise. Simply adjust 2 independent knobs, the guidescope can be moved in 2 different directions by +/-12º.

     The Guidescope Mount also features a ¼-20 screw to hold a camera, functional as a piggyback mount. The screw can be used to fix the tube ring too, or for mounting a small guidescope, directly to tighten the tube and the mount plate together.
