One side of this William Optics adapter has an SCT thread, while the other side has a standard 1.25" Rotolock visual back. To lock in any inserted accessory, simply rotate the adapter ring clockwise. To release the accessory, rotate the adapter ring counterclockwise. Ingenious design guarantees an extremely strong hold on the accessory with consistently perfect centering. No thumbscrews necessary! Internal ball bearings and detents make using this adapter a pleasure.
